The short version: Use Noda responsibly. Your notes are yours. Subscriptions auto-renew but you can cancel anytime. We provide the app "as is" and do our best, but we're a small studio. Be reasonable, and we will too.
1. Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using Noda (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. These terms form a legal agreement between you and SuAppStudio ("we," "us," "Noda").
2. Using Noda
What you can do
- Use Noda for personal or professional note-taking
- Capture text, voice, and images
- Use AI features to organize your notes
- Export your data at any time
What you can't do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Attempt to overload or disrupt our AI processing or update servers
- Resell or redistribute the App
- Use the App to store or process content that violates others' rights
3. Your content
You own your notes. Everything you create in Noda belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your content.
By using AI features on non-private notes, you grant us permission to send that note's text to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing, solely to generate summaries and tags for you. We don't use your content for any other purpose.
You are responsible for the content you create. Don't store content that's illegal or infringes others' rights.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Free and Pro tiers
Noda offers a free tier with limited AI usage and a Pro subscription with expanded features. Current pricing is shown in the App and on the App Store.
Auto-renewal
- Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Your Apple ID account is charged upon confirmation of purchase.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies. We don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Lifetime purchases are one-time and non-refundable except as required by Apple's policies.
5. AI features disclaimer
Noda uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to generate summaries, hashtags, and suggestions. Please understand:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
- AI suggestions (calendar events, reminders, action items) require your approval — Noda never acts automatically.
- You should review AI-generated summaries before relying on them.
- We're not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
6. Privacy
Your use of Noda is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. Please read it.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Noda available and working well, but:
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
- AI features depend on third-party services that may have downtime.
- We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes within the app.
8. The App is provided "as is"
Noda is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We're a small independent studio doing our best, but we can't guarantee the App will be error-free or meet all your needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuAppStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Noda, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to Noda shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Data loss
Noda stores your data on your device. We strongly recommend regularly exporting your data using the Export feature. We're not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or app uninstallation.
11. Termination
You can stop using Noda at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vietnam.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
